Aloha to All, dear Members,

From May 11th 2020 the stand up paddle can resume gradually under the following conditions.

Only individual activities or people from the same household will be allowed respecting social distancing, We have decided to suspend all group activities until the situation is reassessed on May 27 by the Federal Council.

This restart is subject to strict hygienic measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic. These are available below as well as by email to members.

We are very please to restart the activities and will strictly comply with the plan submitted to the City of Montreux.

We would like to thank all of the City Services and more particularly that of Sports for their pro-active communication and first-class support during this difficult period.

Protective measures

1. Symptoms of the disease
- Any member showing symptoms of illness remains at home or is placed in isolation. He calls his family doctor and follows his instructions. The club must be informed immediately.

2. Activities
- The group activities are suspended until reassessment of the situation on May 27th by the Federal Council.
- Only the individual activities of members are authorized.
- If the member practices with one or more people who are not part of his household, the social distance of 2 m as well as the maximum size of the group of five people must be respected.

3. Travel to and from the club
- Going to the club is preferably done individually on foot, by bicycle or by private car. It is recommended to avoid using public transport whenever possible.

4. Space available
- If the member practices with one or more people who are not part of his household, the social distance of 2 m as well as the maximum size of the group of five people must be respected.
- Getting the equipment is done 1 person after another
- Distancing of 2 m also applies on water
- Distancing is also required with other beach users

5. Changing rooms
- The club cannot be used for changing. Practitioners change outside and drop their things off in the club.

6. Equipment cleaning
The following cleaning requirements apply and each member is required to:
- Clean before and after the activity frequently used surfaces such as: box with key, door handles, filing cabinet, etc.
- Rinse the deck of your board in the lake and, once you arrive at the club, clean the carrying handle of your board with hydroalcoholic solution available at the club
- Clean all the shaft and the handle of the paddle with hydroalcoholic solution available at the club.
- The cleaning paper used must be thrown in the public trash outside the club.
- Participants are encouraged to dispose of their personal waste at home.
- Life jackets and wetsuits are no longer available. Members wishing to use this equipment must purchase their private equipment.

7. Club cleaning
Once a week the club will be cleaned and disinfected. 

8. Adherance to measures
Each participant is required to act responsibly and to adhere to the concept of protection in solidarity.
